Summary
Rebecca has nearly two decades of teaching experience, working in a range of state, independent, day, boarding, single sexed, and mixed schools. She has recently completed her PhD in Educational Philosophy at the IoE UCL, considering the impact of technology on the adolescent concept of self. Following a year as part time Research Associate at the University of Oxford Internet Institute Digital Ethics Lab, she now works as a Senior Lecturer in Education, and AI Lead at UWL. Her most recent research focuses upon the pastoral ramifications of Generative Artificial Intelligence in schools, looking at both the positive and negative ways GenAi impacts upon relationships, friendships, student voice, and communication. She recently featured on BBC podcast Inside Science, and has had a variety of articles published in the TES.
