Hello, my name is Abi and I currently study law at Durham University and I am apart of St Chad's College! 😊At University I have so far enjoyed taking part in a range of activities, sports and societies (like Netball and Mooting). In the future, I hope to go into commercial law and Durham University is giving me an excellent grounding for that!

English and Journalism - BA (Hons)
Hi,
I am a second year student who have experienced taking a gap year after completing A-levels in sixth form.
I then took a local college course as I wanted to go into a degree programme where my A-levels wouldn't apply (STEM A-levels wouldn't do for an English and Journalism degree ) and decided the college course would work out cheaper than a foundation course at uni. So that took 2 years. If you are a mature student and worried about adjusting, I can reassure you that the first year is all about making sure everyone is on the same page.
I am also here if you have any issues with roommates as I had to relocate so understand how it can affect your well-being. I can also relate if you come from a bigger city and find it an adjustment to get used to being a student in a smaller space that lacks the usual diversity from big places.
Otherwise, I like reading, running, and sewing but feel free to reach out for a chat about nothing and everything under the sun :)
