The North East, and its main cities Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Middlesbrough, and Sunderland, are nestled between far-reaching coastlines and adventure-filled national parks. You'll find architectural delights from Newcastle’s Grey Street – one of the finest in the country – to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Durham Cathedral. The Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens are must visits, while beaches like Embleton Bay and Bamburgh are definitely worth a road-trip.

Campus and facilities

Middlesbrough is a vibrant town packed with a great choice of shops, restuarats, bars, nightclubs and entertainment. There is so much to see and do, from award-winning parks to internationally renowned art galleries and great sports facilites.

As Teesside's larget town, we have great transport links to Newcastle and Sunderland in the North, and York and Leeds in the South. On our doorstep is the icon Transporter Bridge, and we are a short commuite to the beautiful North East coastline and North Yorkshire moors.
