What makes us different

Unusually for a London university, Brunel is a single-site university with everything students need on one campus. Brunel guarantees accommodation on campus for all new students who meet their course conditions and apply for a room by 31 August 2023.  The campus is about 20 minutes’ walk from Uxbridge tube station, with central London 40 minutes away. Nearby West Drayton station on the new Elizabeth line is a short bus ride away and students can reach Heathrow airport in 20 minutes by car.

Brunel has a long and distinguished history in sport, offering some of the best university sports facilities in the UK. These facilities are used by some of the world’s top athletes, including former 100m World Champion Yohan Blake and the ‘Linford Christie Academy’ sprinters.

Graduate employability is very important to Brunel. The University was one of the first universities in the UK to offer sandwich degrees and currently, over 95%  of its courses offer a placement.
