Myriad by UCAS as a multi-language mobile and web-app was launched in February 2022, to support international postgraduate applicants discover their options of studying in the UK through comprehensive information, advice and guidance. Currently, over 94% of UK higher education providers are promoting their profiles and postgraduate courses on Myriad, with direct applications to 13 higher education providers available within the app – and this number is growing, with more universities and colleges coming on board.
Within the platform, as well as profiles of over 220+ higher education providers and thousands of postgraduate taught (PGT) course options, there is information and signposting to other important aspects of the student journey, including: details of 2,500 scholarships and funding opportunities; 300,000 student accommodation options; English language test preparation and booking; part time job searches and more.
After 6 months of development and testing with a group of international education agents from all over the world, this week UCAS has made Myriad’s agent portal available for early access exclusively to UCAS registered centres. The Agent Portal will enable advisers to invite and connect to their PGT applicants; communicate, signpost and share content (including scholarships and funding, courses and universities) from within the platform; and provide support in completing their application to UK higher education.
Within the UK Government’s International Education Strategy, UCAS has an important role to play: streamlining and enhancing the international student experience through the application journey. Myriad represents a significant investment by UCAS to deliver, in part, on the above, as well as UCAS’ Discover Your Future strategy 2025, to connect the world to UK higher education.
Joining is free and easy, similar to the process registered centres followed to become a UCAS registered centre. Simply email [email protected] with the UCAS centre number to begin the onboarding process.
A special edition Myriad by UCAS agent portal webinar will be hosted on 13 March. We hope you can join us and hear more about this exciting development.
UCAS looks forward to working with its registered centres to add further PGT value to the vital role advisers play for students and the UK higher education sector.
