Apprenticeships in focus

Nicola Drury has spent over 25 years in retail within HR and development roles. Nicola started her journey in Amazon back in 2011 and looked after UK training development, training  employees on processes to ensure customers received their parcels. Nicola also launched Amazon’s first apprenticeship scheme in 2013, the program has continued to grow with Amazon offering over 5500 apprenticeship opportunities and over 40 different schemes, offering a diverse portfolio to support people on their new journeys  regardless of back ground. The schemes range from, Engineering, Project management, data, broadcasting, marketing and many more across the UK and Ireland.  Nicola is also active in levy  transfers and supporting SMEs via the levy transfer pledging over £2.5m in 2022 to our sellers, creative industries and supporting local skills via combined authorities.
