With the continued growth of Higher Education providers, students have more opportunities than ever before to find a course and a university that truly suits their needs. Despite this, students will frequently consider only a select group of institutions, often based from arbitrary criteria and predisposed notions towards those institutions.
Delivered by three of the ‘other’ universities within the city of Liverpool, this session aims to encourage students to look beyond traditional universities, as well as provide guidance to councilors on how to best advise students for whom a traditional university may not be the best match.
The session will also be interactive, with an opportunity for councilors to advise university staff on how to reach students who would not traditionally consider such institutions, as well as inform future university recruitment activity.
