The Annual Conference for Teachers and Advisers 2021

Jonathan was elected at the Member of Parliament for Stoke-on-Trent North, Kidsgrove and Talke on Thursday 12th December 2019 and is currently a Parliamentary Private Secretary ( PPS) to the leader of the House of Lords. 

Jonathan is a member of the Education Select Committee and also elected vice chair for the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Apprenticeships.
Previously Jonathan worked as a secondary school teacher in Birmingham. Jonathan was a Head of Year and was responsible for the achievement, behaviour and safety of over 250 students. He oversaw whole school attendance for Years 7 to 11 and was also the school trade union representative for the NASUWT.
