Summary
Universities and colleges are using contextual offers with increasing frequency to attract students from a diverse range of backgrounds with the potential to succeed on their courses. As the primary gateway to UK HE, UCAS has a role to play in supporting applicants and advisers in understanding contextual offers and their role within the application process.
This session will bring together representatives from HE and teachers and advisers to understand current practices, share opportunities and challenges, and gather intelligence as to how universities and colleges might best communicate contextual offers to applicants through UCAS, including any advice and guidance UCAS should be sharing about this.
