Keele is a global university. The student body at Keele represents over 120 different nationalities, so it's safe to say we are a welcoming campus and that we truly recognise the benefits of such a diverse population of cultures and ideas. Whether you’re considering a foundation course, an undergraduate degree, a master's or PhD, Keele is a place where students thrive.
There are lots of reasons to choose Keele University, from our big and beautiful campus, to our world-leading research, and our excellent academic teaching. We are proud to be recognised as a leading UK university, and to have received a range of awards and rankings including;
· Top 10 in England for Overall Student Satisfaction (broad-based public universities, NSS 2021)
· Global Sustainability Institution of the Year (International Green Gown Awards, 2020)
· Top 10 for Student Experience (Times Good University Guide, 2020)
· 96% Graduate Employability (HESA, 2017)
We have one of the biggest campuses in Britain to explore, nestled in the Staffordshire countryside – but with accommodation, teaching spaces, facilities including a medical centre, sports centre and pharmacy, and a range of shops, eateries and entertainment venues including the Students’ Union clustered around the centre, keeping campus facilities within walking distance. If that’s not enough, we’re just minutes from the market town of Newcastle-under-Lyme – with bars, cinema and a theatre – and a bus ride from the city of Stoke-on-Trent, home to 'The Cultural Quarter' which is a hub of creative and entertainment venues at the heart of the city centre.
You’ll find a wealth of information about life at Keele on our website, but if you have any questions at all, why not chat to our current staff and students via Unibuddy.
