Hi! I am in the process of completing my master's degree LLM International law at the University of Westminster. Alongside my studies, I work as a caseworker for Humans for Rights Network. After my master's, I hope to work at an NGO that focusses on refugees, children's rights and/or climate justice.
Feel free to ask me anything about studying, housing and having a great time in London!

Law
I'm currently in my first year studying law and would like to go on to become a solicitor! I'm unsure exactly what I want to specialise in but I'd like to primarily tackle civil law. Before I started my first year in law, I did a Step-Up to Higher Education course with Staffordshire and a foundation year in law. In my spare time I love reading comic books.

Tiago
University of Glasgow
Scots Law (graduate entry) [LLB]
Hiya! My name's Tiago, and I was born in Madeira (Portugal), having moved to the UK in 2011. I'm currently undertaking the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at Glasgow after having completed the Scots Law (Graduate Entry) LLB (also at Glasgow). Before that I started my academic career at the University of Glasgow doing History at an undergraduate level, following that with an MA in Modern History at the University of York, and then coming back to the University of Glasgow for an MLitt in Dress and Textile Histories. In between all that I gained my CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) from Glasgow Clyde College, and have taught English as a Foreign Language in Scotland, England, Russia, and the Czech Republic.
I've moved around a lot both for studies and work (though ironically I am actually not the biggest lover of travelling), so I have a fair bit of experience in terms of making choices about what to study and where to live (and how something like moving to another country can be a scary experience).
Having two degrees (and working on a third) from the University of Glasgow, I feel like I've seen the University from several perspectives (both academic and personal), and I'd be more than happy to share my experience!
