This engineering qualification provides a programme of study that covers the knowledge, understanding and practical skills required in the engineering sector. During the course you will study 6 mandatory units, the details of which are found below. You will develop knowledge and undertake a range of projects mixed with academic theory and practical activities, creating highly skilled and motivated individuals that have the opportunity to progress into a broad range of engineering careers. A BEng (Hons) Engineering degree provides a global recognized qualification, offering career progression and professional development for those already in employment and opportunities to achieve Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status with the UK Engineering Council. Applicants should hold a relevant level 5 qualification (240 credits) in an engineering related subject, such as a foundation degree or Higher National Diploma at Pass grade or above which includes a module of Higher Level Mathematics. Applicants must hold a GCSE grade C/4 in English Language and Mathematics.
