Course summary

This engineering qualification provides a programme of study that covers the knowledge, understanding and practical skills required in the engineering sector. During the course you will study 6 mandatory units, the details of which are found below. You will develop knowledge and undertake a range of projects mixed with academic theory and practical activities, creating highly skilled and motivated individuals that have the opportunity to progress into a broad range of engineering careers. If you are working within the engineering field or have ambitions of working in this area in a professional, managerial, or technical capacity, then this course is for you. A BEng (Hons) Engineering degree provides a global recognized qualification, offering career progression and professional development for those already in employment and opportunities to achieve Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status with the UK Engineering Council. Qualification requirements

Applicants should hold a relevant level 5 qualification (240 credits) in an engineering related subject, such as a foundation degree or Higher National Diploma at Pass grade or above which includes a module of Higher Level Mathematics. Applicants must hold a GCSE grade C/4 in English Language and Mathematics.

If your Level 5 qualification does not directly relate to this course we may ask you to interview or to provide us with transcripts to ensure that this course aligns correctly to your held qualification.
