We’re dedicating an entire week to helping your students write a killer personal statement – everything from how to capture and engage the reader, to the all-important final checks.

So, whether your students are yet to start or in the process of writing their final draft, encourage them to join us on social media for all the hints, tips, and tricks they need to know before hitting submit.

Head over to Facebook for a live session with personal statement experts – a chance for your students to ask questions, get tips, and find out what works.

Tuesday
We’re talking skills, and why they form a key part of your students’ personal statement.

Wednesday
It’s all about the opener. We’ll be sharing advice on how to captivate and engage the reader.

Thursday
We’re looking at how your students can make their statement stand out from the crowd.

Friday
The essential things your students need to do before they hit submit. We’ll also be running another live Q&A session – this time on Instagram.

Our top tip of the week for your students

Sign up to the UCAS Hub and get a head start with the personal statement builder.

It not only helps them consider what to include and how to structure it, but they can also keep an eye on how many characters they have left. Once they’ve finished their first draft, they can then save it as a PDF to send on to you for your feedback!
