Find out how they can get access to all their education options, and help us to help them take control of what they receive.

At UCAS, we don’t just handle uni or college applications. We also ensure students have the right information, to help them make the right decisions. To do this, they need access to all their education options, as well as the essentials on student life.

A lot of that information comes from third parties. UCAS is a charity, so generating income is vital. Some of the content we send is paid for by trusted third parties, and all profits go back into our admissions service, to help us support future applicants.

We might send course vacancies that would interest them, invitations to open days, options like degree apprenticeships, student accommodation local to their chosen destination, and access to student discounts.

We also help them get great deals on the essentials for student life from leading brands, student insurance, and travel options, both in the UK, and beyond.

How they prefer to receive that information is important too – emails with course vacancies, prospectuses, or invites to open days through the post, can all help students and their parents make decisions, and understand the bigger picture.

To get this info, they have to opt in

It’s easy to do – they can update their preferences in Track (as an applicant), or if they’re attending one of our events or have signed up to our email communications, they can follow the ‘update my preferences’ link in any UCAS email. This is for those considering university.
