Below are the key dates for your diary:

  • 4 May – the UCAS search tool is updated with 2022 courses.
  • 11 May – adviser portal 2022 goes live.
  • 18 May – UCAS Undergraduate application opens for 2022 entry.
  • 7 September – first day completed applications can be submitted to UCAS.

Changes you need to know

In February, we let you know about some important changes we’ve made to the 2022 application – at the webinar we shared updates on these and confirmed:

  • the application fee for 2022 applications will be £22.00 for one choice, or £26.50 for two – five choices
  • all students will need to register in the UCAS Hub to start and access their application (2022 applicants only)
  • there is only one single sign in for students to access the application and to track their offers and decisions
  • the application has been redesigned to give a fresh, modern look
  • newly named and tailored sections have been added to suit existing/current questions
  • there will be a new question in the application for EU applicants to identify pre/settled status.
  • the question under Diversity and Inclusion identifying parents’ occupational background list has been updated (this is only for UK home students)
  • the adviser portal is being updated to ensure it reflects the changes we’re making to the application – we’re also making additional improvements to the portal based on your feedback
