Metanoia Institute is not a licensed sponsor for the Student visa route under the UK’s points-based immigration system. This means we are currently unable to sponsor international students who require a Student visa to study in the UK.

As a result, if you do not already have the right to study in the UK (e.g. through settled/pre-settled status, another eligible visa, or British/Irish citizenship), you will not be able to enrol on our programmes which are taught in-person and are longer than six months.

International students are able to study fully online programmes, which do not require any in-person attendance, without a visa. We are therefore able to accept international students onto our Doctor of Psychotherapy by Professional Studies programme.

We strongly advise all prospective international applicants to check their eligibility and visa status before applying to avoid disappointment. For full guidance on UK visa types, eligibility, and application procedures, please refer to the UK Government’s official Student visa page:

If you have any questions about your eligibility to study in the UK, we recommend seeking independent immigration advice before submitting your application.
