Student life

At TEDI-London you can expect a personalised learning experience in a big city: you’ll join a friendly, fun and supportive campus environment, and be part of an exciting new institute where you can shape the student experience and start new traditions.

TEDI-London students also have associate membership to King’s College London Student Union (KCLSU).  This means you’ll be able to join one of the biggest student communities in London and join a wide range of over 300 KCLSU clubs and societies: for sports, hobbies, and networking.

We understand the need for future engineers to graduate as highly skilled and employable individuals. In addition to our industry-informed curriculum and the opportunity to develop a broad projects portfolio, we also offer employability support throughout your studies, and for up to two years after you graduate.

There are 32 boroughs in Greater London, stretching from the City of London and Westminster, to surrounding areas like Chelsea, Camden, Richmond, Hackney and Islington.

It’s big, but it’s easy to jump on a train, tube or bus to experience everything on offer – from food pop-ups to world famous music acts, free museums and West End shows.

Fantastically diverse and historical, with many industries and businesses based here to kickstart your career, London is one of the most desirable – if pricey – cities in the world.

Campus and facilities

The specialist TEDI-London campus in Canada Water, London, combines sustainable development with a unique modular design. Inside you’ll find our Makerspaces: places to come together to create and collaborate. From small prototyping and 3D printing through to large-scale equipment, you’ll have everything you need to develop your ideas and grow your engineering skills.

Meanwhile, the remaining spaces are home to the other sides of student life. There’s a double height cafeteria, event and exhibition spaces, conference and teaching rooms, plus places you can use to socialise, study, worship or reflect.
