About us

The University of Worcester is a close-knit and high-achieving community where students are supported to succeed at every level.

The success of our graduates has led to us being shortlisted for University of the Year in the prestigious Times Higher Education Awards 2025.

We're consistently rated top for jobs. Our graduates have the highest rate of sustained employment, further study or both, from any multidisciplinary university in the UK (Longitudinal Education Outcomes 2017-2025). 96% of our graduates are in work or further study 15 months after graduating (Graduate Outcomes Survey 2024).

The University is ranked joint 1st in the UK for Quality Education in the Times Higher Education’s University Impact Rankings 2025 and has been in the top 5 every year since its inception in 2019. The University has also been ranked in the top 10 in the UK for Gender Equality in all years of the rankings – currently ranked joint 3rd in the 2025 rankings.

In 2023, the University’s primary and secondary programmes were rated ‘Outstanding’. The report opens: “Trainees benefit from an exceptional learning experience at the University of Worcester. This experience instils in them a deep-rooted commitment to making a difference to the lives of the children in the communities they serve.”
