Student life
Through the Students’ Union, you can join over 180 student groups covering academic, sporting, cultural and social interests.
At Bath, you’ll have access to Student Support including health and wellbeing, money advice and disability support.
Choosing Bath means getting an excellent education from expert staff in their subject areas. Their global connections to industry and research mean you’ll always be taught up-to-date topics. They’ll encourage and challenge you as you take your steps towards a rewarding career.
As a Bath student, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your academic and personal skills with a development programme that fits around your studies. You’ll have access to the ‘MySkills’ website, where you can sign up for online and in-person skills development sessions, including personalised writing support, and find additional resources to support your studies, health, and wellbeing.

Campus and facilities
The University’s campus is set in rural grounds overlooking the city of Bath and is one of the safest campus sites in the UK.
You don't have to walk far to reach the facilities on campus and you can easily travel between the campus and the city either by foot, bike, bus or car.
Choosing your accommodation is an exciting part of the student journey and helps you quickly become part of our thriving student community. We guarantee accommodation to all our full-time, first-year undergraduate students provided that you make us your firm choice via UCAS and you apply for accommodation before the deadline. We offer a range of rooms and set-ups to suit different budgets. Once you’ve accepted Bath as your firm choice, you can apply for accommodation from early May.
Three-quarters of our first-year accommodation is campus-based and the rest is based in the City Centre. We also offer accommodation for postgraduate students, both on campus and in the city.
