    Hi, I’m Danielle! I’m a first-year Social Sciences student at King’s College London, and studying here has been an incredible experience so far! King’s offers the perfect mix of academic excellence and city life—one moment you’re in a lecture, and the next, you’re exploring London’s amazing food scene, cycling along the Thames, or visiting a museum just minutes from campus. Outside of my studies, I love cycling (the best way to see the city!) and cooking Asian fusion dishes, always experimenting with new flavours. Living in London means endless opportunities to try new cuisines, meet people from all over the world, and immerse yourself in different cultures. It’s such a dynamic and inspiring place to study.     Hi! I'm an international student from Singapore currently studying a joint honours degree course at Strathclyde. I chose to study here at quite the last minute because I changed my mind about what I wanted to pursue and Strathclyde allows me to do joint honours for a combination of subjects which is not offered by most universities. I have been really enjoying my classes so far and I am looking forward to my remaining years ahead at university!     I am a 2nd year student from John Snow College who came to Durham university through clearing. Before coming to Durham, I studied the International Baccalaureate and GCSEs at Scarborough College in North Yorkshire. I completed my first year studying Combined Honours in Social Sciences studying Economics, Politics and Spanish before transferring onto the BSc Economics programme. I am a keen sportsman playing Rugby for my college but also Team Durham. I am currently looking into various internships/schemes to gather a greater idea of what I would like to do with a focus on banking, insurance, and finance.     I am currently studying towards a PhD in History focusing on food culture as an expression of identity in diaspora communities in the UK. I hope to move in to teaching after that though I am also interested in getting involved in areas of social policy so am keen to see where my project takes me.
