Swansea UniversityMedicine (Graduate Entry), MBBCHHi! My name is Niamh and I am a former Applied Medical Science student currently studying medicine at Swansea University. Making the move from secondary to university can be a daunting experience and so I am happy to be a part of the Unibuddy scheme to alleviate any worries and answer any questions that prospective students may have about life here in Swansea University. Pash
Swansea UniversityMedicine (Graduate Entry), MBBCHHi, I'm Pash! I previously studied Applied Medical Sciences for my undergrad at Swansea, and now I'm a 4th-year medical student. Having lived in Swansea for the last six years now, this is my second home. So ask me anything you'd like about life as a Swansea student! 😊 Sam
King's College LondonMedicine (Graduate/Professional Entry)Hi I'm Sam, a final year postgrad medic, which is the equivalent to the undergraduate medicine's 5th year. In our first year we completed a 4 week cram course over summer before joining directly into 2nd year undergraduate medicine, which is how our graduate course is structured. This means I have all of the application process to medicine fresh in my head and am happy to answer any questions about this, the course structure, or anything else you can think of. I studied Biomedical Sciences at the University of Sheffield before this! Aleksandra
Bangor UniversityGraduate Entry MedicineCurrently, I'm focused on surviving my third year of medicine. Outside of that, I'm really interested in nature and like going on long walks when I can! I've also explored the local area and visited lots of interesting places. Clarette
King's College LondonGraduate Entry Medicine ProgrammeI’m a first-year Graduate Entry Medicine (GEM) student at King’s College London, based at the Portsmouth campus. My academic background is in Biomedical Science (BSc, University of Hull) and Women and Children’s Health (MSc, King’s College London). I’m passionate about maternal and reproductive health, clinical research, and tackling healthcare inequalities. Before starting medicine, I gained experience in paediatric healthcare and Women's health research, which deepened my commitment to becoming a compassionate and evidence-driven doctor. I’d love to share insights about the GEM course, transitioning from a bioscience degree, and life as a KCL Portsmouth student.
