Though my passions are primarily in the field of history, particularly to do with Luxembourg and Finland, though I do also enjoy wargaming and walking as well. My plans for the future are probably going to be something to do with policing, teaching or public policy related.

I am currently completing my study abroad in Ghent, Belgium and it has been one of the best opportunities of my life, I have been able to meet people from all across the world and study new and interesting classes.     Hi, I am Harriet, a second year History student at the University of Wales Trinity St David. I am a keen historian who is primarily interested in early modern history, particularly empires, royalty and gender studies. Outside of my interest in history I am very much interested in fashion, makeup, The Sims franchise and food. Alongside this I am also a keen traveller and love to go on holidays, whether in the UK or abroad and learn about new places and cultures! On my bucket list at the moment is to go to Rome and the Holy See, as well as Kensington Palace, the childhood home of Queen Victoria! After University, I am planning on going into teaching with the aim of becoming a History and Politics teacher at Secondary School and/or Sixth Form/College.     I am a first year BA History student at the Colchester campus, my aim is to get a job in curation within historic buildings and castles when I have finished my studies. I have had a passion for history since I was young and spent my time reading any history book that I could as a child. When I am not studying I fill my time with acrobatics, music, photography, and spending time with friends. I am a commuter and can offer advice regarding it, I personally love commuting to uni and wouldn't have it any other way. I am also a head student rep and love to encourage others to join the Student Union as student reps.
