    Hi, I’m Daniel. I am a 4th year Chemical Engineering masters student. I undertook a placement year between my 3rd & 4th years at university. I worked in Research and Development at a coffee company called Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE). This placement year massively helped me in terms of personal and professional development. I would love to answer any questions that you may have on completing a placement year and I can share more on my own experience. I love cooking and making things, going on walks in the countryside, and listening to music. After my 2nd year, I took part in a 4-week ‘sustainability & culture’ exchange programme in Malaysia, staying at Sunway University. I had an incredible time learning about everything Malaysian, travelling in my free time, and meeting so many wonderful people. It was truly a life changing experience.     Hi! I’m Hannah, a first-year student studying Neural Engineering with Psychology. My degree isn’t one that’s very well known but I love it. It combines Psychology, Engineering and Computer Science. In my next couple of years, I will cover areas like working with prosthetics, AI and brain computer-interfaces. If that sounds like your sort of thing, then definitely go check it out and feel free to ask me any questions about my experience so far. I mostly work in the CSEE department so I can answer questions about other courses as well. As this is my first year, I remember very well how stressful looking for the right university and course can be. I’d like to make your experience easier in anyway I can. Remember, university might seem a bit scary but its also such a great opportunity to be independent and there will always be people happy to support you. Outside of university I like to play video games and I’m trying to get back into the gym. Ask me any questions you have, big or small, and I will try my best to answer them.
