Course summary
The BA (Hons) Children’s Health and Wellbeing will provide students with a holistic understanding of the underlying causes of poor mental health and anxiety in children. Students will study child development and behaviour and explore the way in which family and environmental influences effect emotional and cognitive development. It will include discussions around identity and tackle important subjects such as loss, bereavement and risk. Students will develop effective communication skills while gaining an understanding of the importance of inclusive practice. Graduates will leave the course with a qualification which will enable them to work with children and families in a key area of current need.
