This Education BA(Hons) course examines a range of contemporary UK and international education systems, with a focus on education as a business. Our Education BA(Hons) course, taught by teachers who are industry leaders, can prepare you for a successful post-University career.
You’ll also focus on the education sector from a different perspective, including socially and politically.
Following your studies, you might go on to work, for example, for local authorities, in family and children’s services, in nurseries, as a childminder, or in another relevant role.

Assessment method
You’ll be taught through a series of lectures, seminars, tutorials, and interactive workshops. On average, 20.6 per cent† of the study time on the course is spent with your tutors (either face to face or online) in lectures, seminars, tutorials etc. A personal tutor will be assigned to you throughout your degree to support your ongoing wellbeing.

or equivalent.
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) - DMM - MMM
Access to HE Diploma - M: 45 credits
or above.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
112-104 UCAS tariff points from International Baccalaureate qualifications.
T Level - M
In addition you must also:
- have GCSE English Language at grade 4 or above, or grade C or above if awarded under the previous GCSE grading scheme.
- complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check towards the end of Year 1, ready for your placement in Year 2, and to highlight any potential issues during your first term.
