Course summary

Learn to produce art-related assets for computer games. You’ll develop core skills and industry-standard practice in modelling, texturing and animation. You can also choose to take a year in industry.

  • OPPORTUNITIES AND EXPERIENCES: We encourage you to enter competitions and showcase your work at our annual Games Expo, which attracts leading UK gaming companies. To give yourself the edge, choose to take the year in industry too

HOW YOU WILL LEARN
There’s a mixture of lectures, tutorials and practical sessions. You’ll also hear regular talks from industry experts and have the opportunity to do work for genuine clients.

YOUR CAREER
The computer games industry is one of the largest and fastest growing entertainment industries in the world so your employment prospects should be good. You will graduate from Computer Games Modelling and Animation with the skills to create and animate 3D art in a real-time environment using the latest techniques. This means you’ll be suitable for a range of specialised 3D art roles, not only in computer games but in the film and visualisation industries too.
