You’ll study the foundations of business management, including business models from a broad variety of sectors. You’ll learn how to manage and respond to contemporary challenges – from the economic to the ethical – at local, national and global levels. You’ll graduate with skills in a wide range of business management activities, a hugely valuable specialism in law, and the real-world experience to develop your career.

As the course progresses, you’ll learn how to integrate the principles of business management and law – from HR management to property and commercial law. You’ll develop your team-working skills and knowledge of how managers work to achieve organisational objectives across financial performance, business law, strategy and much more.

Not only will you explore a broad range of theories and concepts, you’ll apply these in real-world business contexts, experiencing the changing nature of global business first-hand. You’ll understand how organisations work, the environments they operate in and the future considerations they have to keep in mind to ensure their success.

Applied learning

We’ll prepare you for a position in industry or commerce as a technically-literate business professional. When you graduate, you’ll be able to demonstrate acumen in business management and methods of implementation.

UCAS Tariff - 64 points

This must include at least 32 points from one A level or equivalent BTEC National qualifications excluding general studies For example: CC at A Level MPP in BTEC Extended Diploma. Pass overall from a T level qualification with D or E from core A combination of qualifications, which may include AS levels and EPQ.

Access to HE Diploma - M: 15 credits

Access to HE Diploma from a QAA recognised Access to HE course. Normally we require 15 credits at level 2 and 45 at level 3. At least 15 level 3 credits must be at merit grade or above from a QAA-recognised Access to HE course, or an equivalent Access to HE certificate.

GCSE/National 4/National 5

English Language at grade C or 4 or equivalent Maths at grade C or 4 or equivalent

Additional fee information

Our tuition fees for UK students starting full-time undergraduate study in 2025/2026 are regulated by the UK government and are yet to be confirmed. For an indication, our tuition fees for UK students starting full-time undergraduate study in 2024/2025 is £9,250 per year. During your placement year you will pay a reduced fee of £1,200.

If you are studying an undergraduate course, postgraduate pre-registration course or postgraduate research course over more than one academic year then your tuition fees may increase in subsequent years in line with Government regulations or UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) published fees.
