Modules
The Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE) in Adult Care Leadership and Management Level 5 consists of eight compulsory modules - four at Level 4 and four at Level 5

Level 4 Modules
● Practice in the Health and Social Care sector (30 credits)
● Supporting staff and clients through significant life events (30 credits)
● Professional principles and values in health and social care practice (30 credits)
● Culture, communication & stakeholders (30 credits)

Level 5 Modules
● Person-centred approach to care (30 credits)
● Leadership & professional development (30 credits)
● Management & responsibility (30 credits)
● Innovative Practice (30 credits)

How is the course delivered?
The Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE) in Adult Care Leadership and Management Level 5 is delivered through a blended learning approach, combining online flexibility with in-person interaction.

Each 30-credit module is delivered over 12 weeks, with modules structured as follows:
● 75% Online (10 weeks):
○ 1 hour per week: Live online sessions via video conferencing for interactive learning activities, discussions, Q&A, and group work.2
○ 5 hours per week: Access to pre-recorded lectures, interactive learning materials, online quizzes, and discussion forums at your own pace.3
● 25% Face-to-Face (Two non-consecutive weeks):
○ 3 hours: On-campus teaching providing tutorial-related information, interactive learning experiences, and opportunities for collaboration and in-depth discussions and practical skill development.3
○ 3 hours: Engagement with interactive learning materials at your own pace.

For example:
Week 1-4
1 hour live, online 5 hours pw other teacher managed learning
Week 5
3 hours face-to-face, on site 3 hours other teacher managed learning
Week 6-9
1 hour live, online 5 hours pw other teacher managed learning
Week 10
3 hours face-to-face, on site 3 hours interactive learning materials
Week 11-12
1 hour live, online 5 hours pw other teacher managed learning
