About the course
Explore innovative approaches to international management and develop a global understanding of business and society. On this degree you’ll study the core processes of management and discover how they shape international organisations.
You’ll learn about the world’s key business regions including the European Union, North America, East and South East Asia and East and Central Europe. You’ll also investigate trends in international business and global strategy and examine marketing and human resource management from an international perspective. There are a wide range of options including modules on entrepreneurship and financial management. For your final year project, you’ll investigate a specialist area of international business.
At the University of Sussex Business School you’ll become part of a vibrant, multinational student and staff community, and can expand your international network.

Leaving this behind to travel in my 20s changed this trajectory and inspired me to study Zoology. Entry requirements
Qualification requirements
A level - ABB
You must have GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics, with at least grade 4 (or grade C).
You should also have a broad range of GCSEs 9-4 (A*-C), including good grades in relevant subjects.
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) - DDD
The BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma would normally be in Business.
You must have GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics, with at least grade 4 (or grade C).
You should also have a good range of GCSEs 9-4 (5 A*-C), including good grades in relevant subjects.
Access to HE Diploma
Pass Diploma with at least 39 level 3 credits at Merit or above including 24 credits at Distinction.
The Access to HE Diploma would preferably be in Business Studies or include a Business pathway.
You must have GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics, with at least grade 4 (or grade C).
Scottish Higher - AABBB
You will need Scottish National 5 in Mathematics at grade C.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - 32 points
This score should be from the full IB Diploma.
Extended Project
We take the EPQ into account when considering your application and it can be useful in the summer when your results are released if you have narrowly missed the conditions of your offer. We do not routinely include the EPQ in the conditions of your offer but we sometimes offer alternative conditions that include the EPQ. The T Level would normal be in Accounting, Finance, Management and Administration, Digital Business Services, Digital Support Services, Digital Production, Design and Development, Science, Design and Development for Engineering and Manufacturing.
You must have GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics, with at least grade 4 (or grade C).
You should also have a broad range of GCSEs grade 9-4 (A*-C), including good grades in relevant subjects.
