My industrial placement project involves research and development in automated datapoint collection for visible light positioning systems that utilizes machine learning for increased accuracy for 5G & 6G applications. In Sept 25' I will continue my studies and once I have completed my undergraduate I aspire to become a PhD candidate at the DSP Centre to continue researching in the field of Visible Light Communications & Positioning technologies. This year I will be starting my PhD, focusing on "Electric Vehicle Routing for Middle Mile Logistics Operations". I am passionate about addressing climate change, and my research will explore the application of Artificial Intelligence to this problem. The project is also aligned with government guidelines on achieving Net Zero Emissions.
