This unique three-year International Politics degree, taught in English in the heart of Paris, will allow you to learn the essential theories and practices of global politics while gaining international experience. Study areas include international political theory, international security, international development and debates around globalisation. The programme is designed to provide students with some grounding in the relationship between international and comparative politics, providing students with the opportunity to examine the international politics of specific regions.
KEY FEATURES
Develop an advanced understanding of state, non-state, governmental and non-governmental actors ‘doing’ international politics in the contemporary world. Learn how these actors perform international politics and how theories and methods can be used to understand their actions.
Learning Labs are three-hour sessions that will allow you to experiment with different study styles, work on group projects and develop research skills. Blending traditional seminars with fieldwork will provide you with a firm theoretical and practical foundation for understanding how international politics works.
Study a wide range of political actions beyond institutional forms, with close attention to ‘bottom-up’ approaches, social movements and everyday politics.
Fully realise your academic potential while immersing yourself in French culture and society for three years. While the course is taught entirely in English, living in Paris presents countless opportunities to improve your language skills and demonstrates your adaptability and international experience to future employers.
