Course summary

On this Joint Honours degree, you’ll cover the breadth of media including film and television, news media, and digital and social media. Your studies will be intertwined with learning key business and management topics as well as growth areas in business ethics, digital media and innovation, and globalisation.

HOW YOU ARE ASSESSED

Your lecturers will take a flexible and varied approach to assessment in keeping with the interdisciplinary subject. For your media modules, you’ll be assessed entirely by coursework through practise-based work such as articles and videos along with opportunities for more applied work, such as work-based learning and audience research.

For your business management modules, you’ll be assessed via individual tasks as well as group projects. Assignments could include:

  • Business reports

  • Research and consultancy projects

  • Presentations

  • Design of digital materials such as videos, blogs or augmented reality posters

  • Computer-based assessments

STUDY OPTIONS:
