Delivered at our Trowbridge campus, this course will offer you the chance to develop both your academic and practical skills, gaining up to date knowledge, transferable skills and approval to practice (counted in the settings ratios).

This qualification is widely recognised by industry and higher education as the principal vocational qualification at Level 5. Thereby, providing students with a clear line of sight to employment and progression to Level 6.

There is now a greater emphasis on employer engagement and work readiness. This National qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care has been designed to reflect the increasing need for high quality professional and technical education pathways.

Modules

This programme develops best practice in promoting, protecting and safeguarding the rights, wellbeing, health and safety of children through set assignments alongside a placement requirement and completion of a Practical Reflective Evidence Portfolio (PREP).
