The broad-based, multi-skills course offers an exciting blend of creativity and practicality, where you work with cutting-edge technology producing podcasts; creating video content; and learning how to manage social-media platforms effectively. You gain a wide understanding of the field with units on brand building, digital design and ethical content creation. It's hands-on, interactive and ensures you're prepared for a successful career in this dynamic and ever-evolving sector.

Coolr Social Media Agency who are involved in the delivery of relevant course units as well as offering students workplace opportunities and live projects.
Merge XR Virtual Studios who deliver expert industry lectures and workshops using the last virtual production techniques; student work placements; use of facilities including Unreal Engine and a virtual production studio; and potential graduate employment.
You will also get the opportunity to work with the team at Radio Lab, the University's own community radio station broadcasting on 97.1FM. Many of our current students use the Radio Lab studios to create their own podcast such as Dani and Lewis

Put the content-creation theory you learn into practice through our multi-award-winning, Ofcom-licensed local community radio service, Radio LaB (97.1FM).
Work collaboratively on live briefs from real content-creation production houses such as Coolr Social Media Agency; Luton Town FC’s Media and PR department; and MKFM radio station.
Benefit from regular opportunities to meet visiting, industry-active professionals through networking events, guest talks and workshops; contribute to student festivals and competitions; and go on field trips to course-related destinations.
