Course Overview
Are you interested in how drugs are made? Are you fascinated by the human body and what happens in disease? Our BSc Pharmacology degree explores all this and more.

You’ll get complimentary student membership of the British Pharmacological Society.
In your final year you can study neuropharmacology, behavioural pharmacology, current and future cancer treatments, and drugs of abuse.
Biosciences students study similar modules in Year 1, so you have the chance to switch to another specialist degree to pursue your interests and career goals.
What you'll do
It will set you up for working in the pharmaceutical industry - drug testing, drug research and drug design.
In your final year you’ll attend a fully funded internationally renowned Pharmacology Conference as part of a module.
You will be encouraged to attend the annual British Pharmacological Society conference.
Future Careers
What can you do with a Pharmacology degree? Our BSc Pharmacology degree prepares you for careers in industrial settings. It is ideal grounding for postgraduate study and drug research jobs in academic settings.
