Course Overview
Robotics Engineering prepares you for a fascinating and rewarding career, developing the electronic and mechanical engineering skills you’ll need to become a robotic engineer.

You could be involved in the design, development and testing of everything from driverless cars and drones to 3D printers and medical scanners. You’ll create ‘intelligent machines’ and robotic systems that are able to accomplish jobs that humans cannot.

What you'll do
Our professional partners and collaborators include BAE Systems, CISCO, NASA, the NHS and North West Aerospace Alliance.
Our Engineering Innovation Centre enables you to work on real-world projects with commercial partners in state-of-the-art facilities.
Full-time students can take an optional 48-week sandwich placement in industry between Year 2 and Year 3.
