Develop an expertise in the planning and programming of construction operations with this BSc Construction Management course.

This course is designed to prepare you for a successful career in construction management and you will benefit from the Department’s strong links with industry.

Placements
You can carry out a paid industrial training placement, lasting a year or a shorter period. This experience not only provides you with an insight into industry, but is also a valuable opportunity to get to know a range of industry professionals.

Placements can be located anywhere in the UK, and sometimes take place abroad. Firms offering places to our students in the past include Deloitte, Faithful and Gould, Lambert Smith Hampton, Rider Levett Bucknall, and Savills.

Scholarships
As part of the cohort joining the BSc Construction Management course in 2025, you may have the opportunity to secure an annual £1,000 scholarship for each of the three years of the undergraduate degree (subject to conditions).

In recognition of the excellent preparation that the Extended Project Qualification provides to students for University study, we now include achievement in the EPQ as part of a formal offer.  Eligible applicants would receive two offers,  our usual offer plus an alternative offer of a B in the EPQ and one grade lower in their A level subjects

GCSE Maths C (or 4), English Language or English Literature C (or 4).

Minimum grade C in the Core Component.
