In partnership with Burton and South Derbyshire College, we are offering this Contemporary Creative Practice: Moving Image top up course to give you the expertise to back-up your passions and expertise in the creative industries.
Perfect your skills in planning, producing and editing moving images to take to the creative industries. This top-up course will allow you to turn your existing qualification into a full BA (hons), proving your skills in moving image in media.
You will also learn to perfect your research, communication and teamwork skills which will give you a strong foundation for employment in the media and other industries.
On successful completion of study, we will issue the following award: BA (Hons) Creative Practice: Moving Image
Year One: Creative Futures (Life after University 2); Creative Enterprise; Industry Investigation; Final Major Project: Moving Image
We have carefully designed assessments in order to use the best methods available to assess the integrated approach to theory and practice that you’ll engage in within the content creation discipline. Your coursework, carried out in response to assignments, project briefs or self-initiated proposals, will be presented in forms appropriate to that in the workplace and will require you to work both individually and in teams in generating computing solutions to set problems. To back up your work you will also write reports and deliver presentations. Formative assessment is carried out in tutorial and practical sessions and feedback is usually provided to you orally.
