Our BSc Industrial Economics with Insurance will help you discover the answers to these questions and more, giving you an understanding of the complex relationships between economics and global business practices.
You will analyse a company, taking an in-depth look at its structure, markets, competitors and external economic environment.
You can follow your interests and career aspirations by selecting from a wide range of optional modules alongside your core subjects. This course is also available as a four-year course with a placement year, giving you real business experience.
You have the option to take industry-recognised digital qualifications by Microsoft and SAP alongside your course, which will develop your digital skills and help you stand out to future employers.
There is also the opportunity to gain a global perspective by applying to study abroad at our campuses in China or Malaysia or at a partner institution in countries including Australia, Europe and the USA.

A Level requirements
All applications: Your qualification profile should not contain more than one qualification in the same subject area.
GCSE requirements
Home students: English Language or Literature grade 4 (alphabetic grade C), Mathematics grade 6 (alphabetic grade B)
If Maths condition not met:
C in A Level Maths/AS level Maths/Core Maths or Further Maths acceptable in lieu of GCSE Maths.
EU/International students: Mathematics grade 6 (alphabetic grade B), IELTS 6.5 overall, minimum 6.0 in any element or equivalent. Contact institution for more information.
