Want a gateway into the games industries? BIMM University's practical Cert HE courses offer an introduction to the dynamic disciplines of games development. This one-year course offers an exciting opportunity for games makers and producers to delve into their craft through engaging lectures, workshops, and the creation of a comprehensive creative portfolio. Your portfolio will draw a real focus from the 'Studio Project' module that immerses you in real-world working practices and emphasises industry-like collaboration.
The Games Design and Development pathway focuses on the key skills required for games development within design departments and an introduction to the software development lifecycle. It will develop and encourage debate around the cultural and political nature of games and development.

The following entry points are available for this course:
BIMM University (or our partner Met Film School) welcomes applicants from countries that will require a student visa to study in the UK. Applicants must meet requirements set by UKVI. Upon acceptance of an offer you may be required to attend a consultation with a member of the admissions team.
We are waiting on confirmation from UKVI that some of our campuses can accept applicants that require a student visa. Should these not be approved, we will be able to offer an alternative campus and course, subject to audition/portfolio and academic requirements being met.
