Course summary
Consumers are changing the way in which fashion designers, producers and suppliers do business. The success of a fashion label is attributed more than ever to the innovative and ethical ways in which it operates in the world. The buyer is concerned more than ever with where their fashion comes from and who it effects.
The Fashion Design with Business degree from Glasgow Caledonian University gives you a highly competitive degree and strong connections within the UK fashion industry. You will develop the practical and collaborative skills needed to showcase your creative abilities in an ever-changing international fashion marketplace.
The assignments that you receive reflect real design briefs set by industry leaders such as 18 Montrose, Kestin Hare, Harris Tweed, Urban Outfitters, Barbour, Eleganza Sposa. You will benefit from the connections that you make during professional masterclass, careers and feedback events. As part of the University’s Glasgow School for Business and Society you discover how to design, manufacture, promote and sell products and services from people who are creative, enthusiastic and motivated.
