Course summary

The market for holidays and leisure continues to grow. With our HND in International Travel and Tourism Management, you will learn about the most exciting tourist destinations both at home and abroad. You will explore issues in the sector including contemporary travel and tourism, customer experience, industry and professional practice, business toolkit and leadership and management for service industries.

The course also covers management of conference and events, global tourism destinations, consumer behaviour and insight, along with many more. Your own personal research project could lead you into a career in one of the most diverse and thrilling sectors.

The course combines academic and practical assessments. These cover a range of themes and activities within the industry and are designed to develop your management skills as well as to broaden your knowledge of travel and tourism.

To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:
