Course summary

  • 88% of graduates in or due to start employment or further study fifteen months after graduation*

  • You’ll be involved in live research projects from year 1 through our research-inspired teaching

  • You’ll go on placements for 16 weeks each year, allowing you to fully integrate into your team and understand the full clinical experience

  • Non-repayable maintenance grant between £5-8k per year

  • Some students may be eligible to transfer to a four year Integrated Masters (MSci) programme at the end of year two. This offer will be made on the basis of academic performance in years one and two.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) DDM

Applicants studying a BTEC National Extended Diploma in a Science subject will be considered without GCE AL requirement. Applicants offering a BTEC Extended Diploma in lieu of the GCE A level Science will also be required to have a grade C in GCSE English Language and Mathematics.

Access to HE Diploma D: 24 credits M: 21 credits

Pass Access to HE Diploma in Health Science or Science to include 24 L3 Credits at Distinction Grade and 21 L3 credits at Merit grade to include 12 L3 credits at Merit grade in a Science subject.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme 30 points

Applicants will be considered with IB 30 OR 555 in three Higher Level Subjects. All applicants will be required to have Grade 5 in HL Science
