Course summary

Quantity surveyors operate in all sectors of the construction industry around the world. They work on projects that can range from buildings and infrastructure to residential developments, commercial projects to roads, airports and bridges. Projects can range from small schemes to multi-million pound projects. The range is diverse. Quantity Surveyors are mainly responsible for the cost and legal management of construction and infrastructure projects. The course at Wolverhampton is a vocational degree providing a broad education together with specialist studies required to pursue a professional career as a CIOB Chartered Quantity Surveyor in all areas of the construction supply chain from main contractors to sub-contracting organisations and suppliers and works contractors.
