Course summary

This BSc Business and Human Resource Management is designed to develop your knowledge and understanding of how businesses and their workforce operate and succeed, while providing you with a range of practical skills needed in today's world of business.

You will learn:

  • the analytical skills to critically appraise and challenge existing managerial and business practices in the area of human resource management

  • how organisations are managed and the environment in which they operate

  • how decisions are made in organisations

  • how to manage organisational behaviour and change.

If you opt for the Foundation Year route, this will fully prepare you for undergraduate study. It is ideal if you are returning to study after a gap, or if you have not previously studied the relevant subjects, or if you didn't achieve the grades you need for a place on your chosen undergraduate degree.

This course has an evening timetable with lectures, seminars and classes taking place in the evening.
