If you’re passionate about the wine industry, you’ve certainly come to the right place. With the finest facilities and courses available in the UK, you’ll be able to gain all of the knowledge you’ll need to be successful in this highly competitive global industry.
If you’re looking to work in the wine trade or start your own wine-related business, this programme is ideal for you. Over the course of two years this vocational degree will offer a fascinating insight into the UK wine trade as well as developing a range of business skills and an in-depth understanding of the principal wines of the world.

You will be taught by an expert team whose experience and knowledge closely reflects the course modules. The team consists of leading academics, and experienced industry professionals, along with diverse industrial networks to external international experts who deliver guest lectures on individual modules, and career guidance.

This is a unique course to the United Kingdom. The programme is built upon three core themes that run throughout the degree, namely business skills, the UK wine trade and wine appreciation.
The programme structure for a full-time student, completing the course over two years is as follows:
Year 1 - 120 credits (Level 4)
Year 2 - 120 credits (Level 5)

Students are assessed through a combination of assessment methods depending on the modules chosen.
Each course has formal assessments which count towards your grade. Some courses may also include 'practice' assignments, which help you monitor progress and do not count towards your final grade.
Professionally accredited courses provide industry-wide recognition of the quality of your qualification.
To work as a teacher at a state school in England or Wales, you will need to achieve qualified teacher status (QTS). This is offered on this course for the following level:
