Qualification requirements
UCAS Tariff - Not accepted
A level - AAB - AAA
Excluding General Studies.
Grade A in Mathematics, Pure Mathematics or Further Mathematics required.
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) - DDD
Applicants studying a BTEC Extended Diploma are also required to achieve Grade A at A Level in Mathematics, Pure Mathematics or Further Mathematics.
Access to HE Diploma - D: 30 credits M: 15 credits
Pass the Access to HE Diploma with 30 L3 credits at Distinction grade and 15 L3 credits at Merit Grade.To include 15 L3 credits at Distinction Grade in an acceptable Mathematics subject area. Please also see our GCSE requirements.(please contact us for further guidance on our equivalencies and specific module requirements).
Scottish Higher - AAABB - AAAAB
A in Mathematics, Pure Mathematics or Further Mathematics required.
Scottish Advanced Higher - ABB - AAB
A in Mathematics, Pure Mathematics or Further Mathematics required.
International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - 34 - 36 points
Applicants will be considered with IB 36-34 OR 666 or 665 in three Higher Level Subjects. All applicants will be required to have Grade 6 in HL Maths (Analysis and Approaches).
English language requirements
GCSE English Language with a minimum pass of Grade C or 4
