Placements
If you take a paid work placement in your third year, you’ll develop and enhance your employability skills. Our students have taken advantage of placements with employers such as Redmayne-Bentley, De Puy and Morrisons.

Taking part in business competitions such as the Aviva Challenge and the IBM Universities Business Challenge, a national business simulation game in competition against other universities, will enhance your learning and develop your teamworking skills.

Guest lectures
Our guest lecture series will help support your development. Past speakers include the CEO of the London Stock Exchange, the Chief Executive of the British Bankers Association and the Chief Economist of Yorkshire Bank.

Qualification requirements

UCAS Tariff - 112 points

A minimum of 72 points from two A levels or equivalent, excluding General Studies.

GCSE/National 4/National 5

GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade C or above (Grade 4 for those sitting their GCSE from 2017 onwards) or equivalent. Key Skills Level 2, Functional Skills Level 2 and the Certificate in Adult Literacy/Numeracy are accepted in place of GCSEs.
