Given the fast pace of change, the course explores a wide range of modern market challenges and the strategies you’ll need to create a thriving business. You’ll learn to drive positive change in an organisation, to develop collaborative teams who optimise business performance – plus how to assess markets, analyse business performance and realise lucrative opportunities.

Throughout this course you’ll learn how to lead businesses, manage teams or hone your business specialism. You’ll innovate and make a positive impact.

You’ll study business models from a broad variety of sectors – championing environmental, social and ethical practices while exploring the future challenges posed by cultural, digital and technological change.

Real-world global application is deeply rooted throughout the course, helping you build your skills as an effective team player as you work to solve business challenges.

As the course progresses, you’ll have the opportunity to specialise in an area of interest by choosing from a range of optional modules. And throughout the course, we’ll support your curiosity, courage and ambition by emphasising learning as a collaborative process – with an entrepreneurial, global and inclusive mindset, alongside the digital skills you need to get ahead.

Applied learning

We think the best way to learn something is to do it in the real world. That means putting learning into practice on placements, internships and real-world consultancy projects – arranged through our global network of leading businesses.

Placements

You’ll have the opportunity to arrange a year-long work placement in between your second and third years. This gives you valuable work experience to prepare you for your future career – as well as an Applied Professional Diploma to add to your CV.

Qualification requirements

UCAS Tariff - 112 - 120 points

This must include at least 48 points from 2 A Levels or equivalent BTEC qualifications. For example: BBC-BBB at A Level DDM in BTEC Extended Diploma. Merit overall from a T level qualification. A combination of qualifications, which may include AS levels, EPQ and general studies

Access to HE Diploma - M: 15 credits

Access - an Access to HE Diploma with at least 45 credits at level 3 and 15 credits at level 2. At least 15 level 3 credits must be at merit grade or above, from a QAA-recognised Access to HE course, or an equivalent Access to HE certificate.

GCSE/National 4/National 5

English Language at grade C or 4 Maths at grade D or 4

Additional fee information

Our tuition fees for UK students starting full-time undergraduate study in 2025/2026 are regulated by the UK government and are yet to be confirmed. For an indication, our tuition fees for UK students starting full-time undergraduate study in 2024/2025 is £9,250 per year. During your placement year you will pay a reduced fee of £1,200.

If you are studying an undergraduate course, postgraduate pre-registration course or postgraduate research course over more than one academic year then your tuition fees may increase in subsequent years in line with Government regulations or UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) published fees.
